Songfacts®:

  • UK dance producers Chase & Status are a London based dance production duo consisting of Saul Milton and Will Kennard. Among the artists they've collaborated with are Snoop Dogg ("Snoop Dogg Millionaire") and Rihanna ("Wait Your Turn."). This single was written for the movie Harry Brown.
  • The song features the vocals of English rapper Plan B, who also contributed to Chase & Status' breakthrough hit "Pieces."
  • Chase & Status were drafted in to write the theme for Harry's Game by music supervisor Pete Tong. Milton explained to Q magazine: "He asked if we had anything they could use for the end credits - hence the song title."
  • The song became the duo's first Top 10 hit, peaking at #9 on the UK singles chart. Status told The Sun August 13, 2010: "When we wrote End Credits, it was really just an extension of where we are; beautiful songwriting and singing with nasty beats and bass. It shows the buying public isn't afraid to support a hard-sounding record and that you can get a top-ten track even though we never thought it would get anywhere near."
