Songfacts®:

  • This super-campy dance track was originally recorded by former UK Celebrity Big Brother star Preston. It was released as the British singer's first solo single after three albums as the frontman of the Ska-tinged Rock act, The Ordinary Boys. "I love 'Dressed to Kill,'" Cher commented to Billboard magazine. "It's one of my favorites just because it's so over-the-top. It's just more fun. You know, it's just very gay! I like that."
