Songfacts®:

  • Felisha of Cherish said about this song on their MySpace site: "We have the ultimate break up song, 'Lovesick' (produced by Adonis and K-Fam). It's our 'Cry Me A River'." Her sister Neosha added, laughing: "You find pleasure in the fact that your ex-boyfriend, who dogged you out, wants to get back with you. It's a little mean, but it's all about karma."
  • Cherish told singersroom.com how they came about their name: "It's funny because we were sitting in the hotel room trying to come up with a name for the group. My father, which is our manger asked us 'well what do you cherish?' Do you cherish what you do? We said yes and that's how the name Cherish came about."
