  • This was released as the B-side of "A Spaceman Came Traveling." The subject of both songs is Jesus of Nazareth. De Burgh wrote this during his spiritual phase. Somebody suggested to him that if Jesus came back today he would be regarded as just an ordinary man. Mary Magdalene thought this initially, but later came to realize he was something special, and it was only after the Crucifixion (and the Resurrection) that he became, as De Burgh has said, a "Monstrous Figure." >>>
