  • In August 2006 the International Astronomical Union modified the definition of a planet, and as a result Pluto lost its status. This is a heart-to-heart song about Pluto's downgrading from a planet as a metaphor for an artist's fall from grace. Clare Muldaur Manchon said: "I think an artist can easily have that happen to them, and - or do it to themselves. So I just had a really easy time sitting down with Pluto and telling him it was going to be OK." The song appears twice on the album, once sung in English and once in French.
  • Clare and the Reasons is fronted by Clare Muldaur Manchon, the daughter of blues-folk guitarist Geoff Muldaur.
