  • This is a tribute song to the then newly invented Sony Walkman. It was at the time a genuine breakthrough in the world of portable music.
  • BA Robertson wrote this with Alan Tarney. Robertson has written many international hits, including "Carrie" (also for Cliff Richard) and "The Living Years" for Mike & The Mechanics. He has also enjoyed chart success in Europe as an artist. His first solo single, "Bang Bang" (1979), achieved worldwide sales of over 1 million and reached #2 in the UK.
