Songfacts®:

  • Cold Specks is a band led by Canadian singer-songwriter Al Spx. This song features a vocal contribution by Michael Gira, the main force behind the New York City group Swans. Asked by Uncut magazine why she recruited Gira, Spx replied: "I couldn't sing as low as he does! Luckily for me he was a fan and agreed to do it. He was kind and gracious through the entire process. I'm a very big fan of his, so it was a great pleasure."
