  • This song is about how money and physical objects can give people a "rush" that can sometimes take over their lives. It's part of The Blue Room, the first EP Coldplay released after signing a major-label deal with Parlophone Records. >>>

  • Andrea from Sønderborg, DenmarkI love how it gets all wild in the end. Coldplay's early stuff rules.
  • Erika from Fox Valley, WiThis really is a cool and completely under-rated Coldplay song. I hear a lot of Radiohead influence in this one! The meaning is so straight-forward. This ridiculousness that material possessions and money are so important when in reality money doesn't mean anything and doesn't get you any further ahead than anyone else.
  • Chaitanya from Hyderabad, Indiathis is one of my favourite songs, the band was goin through a rough phase, an apparent financial crisis.chris's vocals and lyrics mean a lot in this song......
