  • Cole Porter was born in June 1891. An early starter, his first venture into print was "The Bobolink Waltz," which was launched upon the world without undue fanfare in October 1902. It was produced privately by S. Brainard's Sons of Chicago. Porter's mother arranged for the publication and printing of 100 copies. >>>
