  • Ashley Kramer from Valparaiso, InCritiques in 1958 deplored Cole Porter's last song Couldn't It Be Fun for the Emperor in Aladian to sing. HOW DARE THEY! First of all the song would be funny coming from a Disney cartoon character. Second, how dare they criticise Cole Porter whose writing has stood the test of time. Third how inhuman to criticise a man who suffered so much pain and wrote brilliantly for years, to is death. And lastly, if all the theatre critics of the world were to disappear along with their critiques, what would the world miss? Nothing absolutely nothing!!!!
