Songfacts®:

  • "Letter from God to Man" is a fan favourite, and was a consistent in Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip shows from first shows to very last at Bestival in 2014, often being a set closer.
  • The song, much like "Thou Shalt Always Kill" started life as a piece of spoken word written by Pip, and is one he will still perform at his solo shows. The lyrics are structured as a letter written from God to mankind as a whole, and contains plenty of biblical references ("the last time I sent down a message you nailed it to a cross") and a litany of social injustices rife in the world, including plundering the earth of natural resources, war, unjust economic systems and more.
