Songfacts®:

  • In this song the narrator warns her new fella that her previous boyfriend damaged her heart so he'll need to be understanding with her.
  • This was produced by the production company Stereotypes. Jeremy Reeves of Stereotypes recalled to saclights.com the recording of this track: "We recorded in Circle House Studios, which is basically just a house that's been converted into a studio. They had the lights and everything set up in the engineering room. That was basically our set. The session lasted 12 hours. It took a little longer than normal, but that's because we were working with five girls instead of just one artist. We had to make sure all the vocals and backgrounds were tight."
  • When Welcome to the Dollhouse entered the US album chart at the top position, Danity Kane became the first female group in Billboard history to debut at #1 with both their debut and sophomore sets.
  • The futuristic dance clip from directing team Syndrome (Eminem, Fall Out Boy) was shot in 24 hours on a chilly Los Angeles sound stage. The crew was worried about their equipment being damaged from the heat, so they cranked the air conditioner full blast.
