Songfacts®:

  • Gospel singer Kierra Sheard duets with Gokey on this inspirational tune. "I've listed to her music for 10 years," Gokey told Billboard magazine. "She's just a powerhouse singer."
  • This was written by Bobby Hamrick (Luke Bryan's "You Look Like Rain"), James Slater (Rascal Flatts' "Unstoppable") and Priscilla Renea (Pitbull's "Timber.") Gokey explained the meaning of the message-driven track.

"The song talks about the divide in our country. We have to talk about these issues that are going on. We can't ignore it and pretend like it's not happening or that it's going to solve itself. It's hard to quantify because there was a whole bunch I wanted to talk about and I felt like we did talk about so many different things and I hope people catch that inspiration and enjoy the groove."
