Songfacts®:

  • This synth-snapping power ballad finds David Guetta reuniting with his "Titanium" collaborator Sia. The Australian singer-songwriter unleashes a monster chorus about overcoming life's difficulties in a similar vein to the pair's previous hit.
  • Guetta recruited American rapper Fetty Wap for the song's remix, which was also released as the second single from the re-release of Listen. Fetty raps the second verse, which on the original version was sung by Sia.
  • This was the theme song for the 2015 science fiction horror film Victor Frankenstein.
  • The song's music video shows Guetta losing a game of poker to his arch nemesis at a ritzy casino. Fortunately, a female friend steps in to win it all back for him in a thrilling technicolour horse race. Neither Sia nor Fetty Wap feature in the clip.

The visual concept was devised to coincide with the Melbourne Cup on November 2, 2015 and was produced in partnership with global horse racing sponsors Maison Mumm.
