Songfacts®:

  • Demi co-write this with Nick Jonas. Lovato toured with the Jonas Brothers in 2008 and they collaborated on many of the songs on her debut album including "On the Line" and "Don't Forget." However, there was only one Jonas Brothers collaboration on Here We Go Again. Demi explained why to the New York Daily News: "I just felt like I wanted to see what my songs would sound like without them. They were the only people I'd ever written with. Once I wrote with different people, I wanted to go with that."
  • Demi told MTV News: "The song is just about, like, sometimes you fall in love with somebody and people don't want you to. But it's like you can't help it."
