  • This features the dueling guitars of Eric Clapton and Duane Allman. Clapton asked Allman to sit in at the sessions after seeing him perform with The Allman Brothers. Duane Allman plays the guitar solo using a bottleneck slide.
  • Clapton wrote this with his Domino band mate, Bobby Whitlock. In 2003, Whitlock released a new, acoustic version on his album Other Assorted Love Songs.   • Nick from Newnan, GaClapton played the slide in this song. The solo is all Duane Allman. It has his trademark bits all through it. Bobby Whitlock has confirmed that it was Clapton doing the slide parts. I don't need anyone to tell me that that is Duane Allman on the "Anyday" solo. His style and tone are imprinted on my soul.
  • JoshColin Duane is not playing slide, Eric is laying off slide rhythm while lead is clearly duane and so he begin to do his trademark licks around 5:30, so you can tell right away is the first i hear someone say it's clapton soloin.
  • Colin from Ctpmaa@gmail.com, AbEric Clapton does the guitar solo. Dwayne is playing the end of the verses. ie after " If you believe in me (guitar) like I believe in you (guitar). Eric does the main solo and feeds off Dwaynes slide guitar and is playing slide on a stratocaster. Dwayne is playing a Les Paul. The two guitars are distinct
