Songfacts®:

  • A track from the fifth DevilDriver album (and last with Roadrunner Records), "Dead to Rights" is a phrase meaning caught in the act. In our interview with lead singer Dez Fafara, he said: "That's about having somebody in your sights going, 'Hey, I see you for everything that you are. I've got you dead to rights on everything that you've been saying and everything you've been saying is wrong. So don't try to pull any wool over my eyes.'"
