Songfacts®:

  • London drill rapper Digdat teams up with Manchester hip-hop artist Aitch for this cut. The dexterous MCs take inspiration from Eminem's 2002 Eight Mile movie to re-create its iconic rap battle scenes from the film. The two flex their lyrical ability, sparring back to back, with each spitting six verses.
  • The instrumentation comes courtesy of drill producer Chris Rich Beats (Gullypabs' "OFB In Spain") and Manchester knob twiddler WhYJay (Aitch's "Taste (Make It Shake)").
  • The video, directed by Wowa (Hardy Caprio's "Rapper"), finds the two rappers re-enacting 8 Mile's famous final battle between Eminem's character B-Rabbit and his rival, Papa Doc.
