Songfacts®:

  • The Dirty Heads is a band that like to push the boundary of genre rules by working with producers who push them out of their comfort zone. This track, from the group's self-titled fifth album, finds them combining their tropical sounds with rap. Lead singer Jared Watson told Artist Direct:

"Getting Kosine and Tuo - Da Internz - that produced [the album], they come from the hip-hop world. Strictly hip-hop world…Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, they do everybody. To have someone from such a different world and blend this rad reggae song that sounds like a Police song that we flipped on its head and threw some Trap s--t in, for me, that's f--king crazy exciting."
