Songfacts®:

  • This is the third single from Miami based mixtape DJ and Terror Squad member DJ Khaled's fourth studio album, Victory. The DJ Nasty produced track features a quartet of rap/hip-hop guest stars, namely T-Pain, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross.
  • During BMI's "How I Wrote The Song" pre-Grammy event, Khaled recalled that he kept T-Pain six months before coming up with hook. "I'm like, 'Pain, man, I gotta win,'" he said. "I walked in the studio and he had cartoons on, and I was like, 'Yo, he wants me to work, he's trying to make me work for this.' So I was like, 'Ain't nobody gonna outwork me.'"
  • The song has been used as an intro by a number of sports teams and individuals, including the New York Knicks, the East Carolina Pirates and boxer Devon Alexander.
  • Snoop Dogg's line "We like the U in the '80s" refers to the University of Miami's Hurricanes football team that dominated college football in the 80's and early 90's.
  • America's most hip-hop president, Barack Obama, used this as his entrance song during a White House Correspondents' Dinner held on April 27, 2013.
