Songfacts®:

  • This track features Lil Wayne, T.I. and Future with the latter contributing the hook.
  • Future references the Black Eyed Peas' 2003 hit single "Let's Get It Started" on the chorus, when he burbles "Let's get it started. Let's go dumb and retarded." (The album version is titled "Let's Get Retarded.")
  • Many of the Kiss The Ring tracks do not include any obvious contribution from Khaled, despite him putting his name to the album. So to answer the question what the Miami producer actually does, he explains at the end of this song, "I make hits, I find hits, and I put hits out."
  • Because of the popularity of the track in the clubs, Khaled decided to release it as a single. "I wanted to drop this record because the streets picked it up when the album dropped," he explained to MTV News. "When I went to the strip clubs, and the clubs and listening to mix show they were rocking this as well as 'Hip Hop' and 'They Ready' and all the other big records on the album."

The single release was given the more radio friendly title of "Models & Bottles."
