Songfacts®:

  • This song finds Lil Baby and Lil Durk spitting verses about their old life on the streets. They flex about their rise from the trenches and the luxurious lifestyles they have now. During the chorus, Lil Baby warns his haters he will turn on them "every chance I get."
  • "Every Chance I Get" is the third collaboration between DJ Khaled and Lil Baby, following the 2019 Father of Asahd tracks "You Stay" and "Weather The Storm." Though Lil Durk had never hooked up with Khaled before, he and Baby frequently work together.
  • According to Khaled, Durk sent his vocals back the same day the producer sent him the track.
  • Tennessee-based Tay Keith came up with the trap beat along with Khaled. His previous collaborations with the Miami producer include the Father of Ashdad track "Wish Wish."
  • Joseph Kahn directed the video, which sees Lil Baby and Lil Durk rap their verses amid burning Lamborghinis and lightning strikes. The three artists turn the chaos into a party with beautiful women and alcohol.
