Songfacts®:

  • D.O.D. crafted his summer dance anthem "So Much In Love" to ignite festival goers into a state of euphoric motion. Its nostalgic chords and no-nonsense groove are designed to get the crowd moving.
  • The vocalist is Abi Flynn, who also sang on "Believe Me" by Navos. Flynn isn't credited on either track.

In the song, Flynn yearns to revisit a bygone era when she and her partner were "so much in love." Their passionate connection was not without its share of turmoil when they inflicted emotional wounds upon each other. Now, she wants to rewind time and retract every ounce of pain they caused.
  • D.O.D. whipped up the track in no time. "I set myself a challenge just before Christmas 2022 to make 30 tracks in 30 days," the Manchester DJ told Inflyte. "'So Much In Love' was one of those records from the 30 days."
  • D.O.D. and his team made a deliberate decision to hold on to the track. They recognized its festival-ready sound as a perfect fit for the vibrant energy of the approaching summer. He finally dropped it via Armada Music on April 21, 2023.
  • The directing trio Three Shades helmed the music video, set against the backdrop of a pulsating festival. Pierpaolo Cosentino and Alexia Kalogiannidis take center stage, embodying a couple lost in the nostalgic embrace of their honeymoon phase. Accompanied by their friends, they navigate the intoxicating world of the summer festival, their hearts awash with memories of a love that had once burned bright.
