  • This is the opening track from Surf, the debut album by American band Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment, which was released as an iTunes Exclusive free download on May 28, 2015. The record was created by hip hop trumpeter, Nico Segal (a.k.a. Donnie Trumpet), along with his band of collaborators called The Social Experiment, which consists of Chance The Rapper, Peter Cottontale, Greg Landfair Jr., and Nate Fox.
  • The song is one of five Surf tracks that Detroit-born, Chicago-based singer Eryn Allen Kane supplied vocals for. She also worked on Prince's protest number "Baltimore."
  • Even though the Surf album doesn't bear Chance the Rapper's name, it still made a big impact. The free record racked up 618,000 full-album downloads in its first week and more than 10.1 million single track downloads.
