Cameras/Good Ones Go

Album: Take Care (2011)

Songfacts®:

  • Drake attempts to convince a girl that he's not cheating on her after she sees images of him with another woman in a magazine: "Look like we in love, but only on camera," he rhymes over a sample of Jon B.'s "Calling On You." The track fades into an R&B lament for lost lovers, so it can be safely assumed the girl was not persuaded by Drake's protests.
  • Take Care was originally to be released on Drake's 25th birthday, October 24, 2011. However the album was pushed back to November 15th to allow time to clear the Jon B sample plus two others for other tracks.
