Songfacts®:

  • This song features a previously unheard hook sung by the late Michael Jackson. The King of Pop's vocal was recorded in 1983 during a studio session with former '50s teen idol Paul Anka, whose 1957 chart-topper "Diana" was one of the biggest sellers of the decade.

Jackson's vocals from their collaboration remained unused until their song "This Is It" appeared as the title track on his first posthumous album. Another recording from this session, "Love Never Felt So Good," was included five years later on the King of Pop's Xscape LP.
  • Drake previously rapped about a night time visit from Michael Jackson during his verse on 2 Chainz's 2016 cut "Big Amount":

Michael Jackson talkin' to me in my dreams
And he say, "You bad and you know it"
