Songfacts®:

  • Drake raps some come-ons to a girl on this slow jam; however it appears she's too busy working to find the time to commit to a relationship. The repetition of "working" and "faithful" on the hook is reminiscent of Drake and Rihanna's 2016 collaboration, "Work."
  • The song features a gritty verse from the late Texas rapper Pimp C. The posthumous rhymes were lifted from Jay Z's "Tom Ford" remix.
  • The late Pimp C was one-half of the legendary Texan group UGK (with Bun B). An idol of Drake's, the MCs previously shared wax in 2013 on "What Up," which appeared on the Naked Soul of Sweet Jones album.
  • The song incorporates an Amber Rose sample at the top, where the model explains why she has such as expensive taste. The audio comes from an Instagram video that Rose posted on December 8, 2015.
