Songfacts®:

  • This R&B trap song finds Drake expressing his admiration for a gay woman. He tells her they have common ground as they are both into other women.

Yeah, say that you a lesbian, girl, me too
Ayy, girls want girls where I'm from

Drake is trying to seduce her by comparing his sexual tastes with hers. However, the lyric garnered criticism among fans and in the media for fetishizing WLW relationships.
  • This is not the first time Drake has associated his sexual tastes with those of gay women. On the 2009 Young Money single "Every Girl," he rapped:

Are any of y'all into girls like I am les-be-honest
  • Lil Baby steps in for the second verse, during which he talks about having a lesbian girlfriend. The hedonistic rapper suggests to his lover they hook up for a threesome with her female partner.
  • This is the fifth time Drake and Lil Baby have worked together, following their collaborations on Baby's "Yes Indeed" and "Never Recover," the remix for Drake and Future's "Life Is Good," and the Scary Hours 2 track "Wants And Needs."
  • The Swiss producer OZ created the moody, melodic beat with his assistant, the German producer Ambezzan. The two also co-produced Drake's collaboration with Future, "Life Is Good."
