Songfacts®:

  • Originally recorded for Nothing Was The Same, Drake finally dropped this love song on October 25, 2014. It was one of a trio of tracks, along with "How About Now" and "6 God" that Drake released as promo songs for his Views From the 6 album. The reason? They were "just 3 songs that [I] knew some hackers had."
  • The Noah "40" Shebib produced track finds Drake reflecting on being asked by a girl what type of person he's going to be at the end of his life. He tells her that he's too busy concentrating on his career to think about it right now.

Who am I gonna be when it's all over?
    When it's all over?
I don't wanna think about that right now
    Heat of the moment.
  • This track features background vocals from Drake's OVO signee, Partynextdoor. The intro samples his "Her Way" cut.
  • We hear Drake and his father Dennis Graham talking about the Toronto MC's past on the outro. "My dad is a star," Drake told XXL. "That's what you have to understand. I can call my dad right now and be like, 'Yo, dad, I need you to fly to shoot.' He's always down. I'm living my dad's dream. My dad wanted to be a famous singer."

Continuing, Drake said: "All he wants to do is go to Beale Street in Memphis and play music. He's rediscovered his passion for music and for being a musician. Like any other family, there have been dark times. There have been other interviews where I was asked about my dad and I didn't want to talk about it."
  • African American drummer Dennis Graham once worked with Jerry Lee Lewis. This is his second appearance on one of his son's tracks after his vocals were sampled on Drake's collaboration with J Cole, "Jodeci Freestyle." Graham Snr can also can be seen in the video for "Worst Behavior."
