  • Ella Henderson first came to the public attention when she reached the final 12 in the ninth UK series of The X Factor. Henderson was tipped as the winner of the series, but was controversially eliminated by the public vote in week 7 when she and the eventual champion, James Arthur, found themselves in the bottom two. Despite her premature exit, Henderson still got herself a record deal, signing to Simon Cowell's Syco Music.

Henderson penned this song with English songwriting and record production team TMS (Professor Green's "Read All About It," Dappy's "No Regrets." "I wrote this ballad during my first session back in the studios with the TMS boys," she explained. "Kinda relates back to my experiences of the past year."
