  • This is one of the first songs Elton wrote with Bernie Taupin after a few years apart. He started using other lyricists in 1978, mostly Gary Osborne. On his 1980 album 21 at 33, three songs had lyrics by Taupin. The Fox, his first album under his new contract with Geffen Records, contained four Taupin songs.
