  • Elyar told HMV.com how the song came about. "I wanted to write a really tongue in cheek song, it's fun, it's an anthem for the love struck," he explained. "I hope it makes girls feel good and they think it's about them."

He added: "I wanted to write something with lots of guitar, a real party vibe, there are lots of party songs on the album so I wanted to reflect that."
  • Elyar wrote the song with Karen Poole, whose other credits include The Shapeshifters' #1 dance smash "Lola's Theme" and Kylie Minogue's Top 5 hit "Wow."
  • There is a mathematical error contained in the lyrics. Elyar sings here that there are "a billion girls in the world," which is actually incorrect. The world population at the time the song was written was about 7.20 billion, meaning over 3.5 billion girls in the world. Another song that comes to mind which is arithmetically wrong is Radiohead's "2+2=5."
  • Elyar headed off to Los Angeles for the sunkissed video, which was directed by Nigel Dick (Oasis' "Wonderwall," Britney Spears' "…Baby One More Time"). The teenage singer told HMV.com: "I managed to get the line 'London to L.A in the song', so that helped pick the location."
