Songfacts®:

  • The second song from English post-hardcore band Enter Shikari's third album, A Flash Flood Of Colour's leads directly from its opening track, "System…."
  • Vocalist Rou Reynolds told Kerrang!: "Lyrically, it's one of the most frank tracks. 'Fear begins to vanish when we realize that countries are just lines drawn in the sand.' The song is asking people to step back and to realize that countries are just a form of gangs and how patriotism can be really negative. We are all just one."
  • Reynolds told Alternative Press that the band spent a long time tweaking this tune's breakdown, "so that the guitars and synths became unified amongst a wall of gut-shaking bass."
