  • Drew Maulding from Arkansasi’ve been a lord of the rings fan since i was young but have just recently started diving into it. i’ve been doing tons of research on middle earth and different characters that aren’t seen in the movies or in the main books and it has gotten so interesting. to me this song reminds me of when they got out of the mines of moria after gandalf fell. they were all crying, hearts were broken.
  • Cory from Buffalo, NyFrodo does indeed live, and Case is a lying bastard. (I hope someone gets that reference...)

Also, Enya is quite possibly one of the best musicians i've ever heard.
  • Julia from Richland, WaI really love this song!!! It's really a very beautiful song... Oh, and just in case you were wondering, I'm an official LOTR junkie.(One more thing) FRODO LIVES!!!!!! :)
  • Carrie from Hefei, ChinaI'm a huge fan of LOTR and Enya, so the song is basically important to me, especially "you will rise and find the sun". It makes me feel inspired and it always reminds me of Aragorn and Arwen. And I agree with DoF that it brings to mind Galadriel's gifts.
  • Maisala from Chamin n'rangwa edanea...
  • Valerie from Evansville, InI love LOTR anyway, and then we sang this song in choir and it was just absolutely gorgeous. This song is so beautiful. In the copy of the music I had it told what the Elvish lyrics mean: Mornie utulie, mornie alantie- it means "Darkness has come, darkness has fallen." Ah, Quenya is so pretty.
  • Waradu Celeb Luin from Bucharest, Romaniai love all the tunes from the lotr motion picture.in my spare time....when i read hobbiton, silmarils, rhovanion or lotr i always listen to a melody from the soundtrack.and deepends on what chapter i'm on i put anagressive or a slow one.another good song...almost.....maybe better than this one is "the council of elrond"...pitty is not enya that sings it
  • Calicien from Valley Stream, Nyuitheliton 'song facts' namarie
  • Calicien from Valley Stream, Nyelen sila omentielvo
  • Jordan from Springfeild, Areverytime i hear this song...i wanna watch the movie again...it's so awesome...
  • Daughter Of Fenris from N/a, Waheh But then again.. Can't most of the songs in the LOTR soundtracks be applied to the story? that IS why they are on the movies!

Yes, Elfa and I are both die-hard LOTR fans... and very obsessive..... :-D
  • Earthelfa from N/a, MoIt does, good point DoF. I also feel that it can be applied to that situation and also find that it can be applied to the story of the Silmarils and Beren and Luthien....
  • Daughter Of Fenris from N/a, WaTo agree with EarthElfa ((Hiya!)) You are right... Sindarin... No Quenyan... tsk tsk.. heh egads. I'm wired.. Anyway... May it be, is, to me, about the Fellowship and its quest. "May it be an evening star/shines down on your" brings ot mind Galadriel's gifts.... Does it not?
  • Earthelfa from N/a, MoIn Middle Earth, Quenya is like Latin, it's a dead language only spoken by few extremely noble Elves to one another. I love this song and it fills me with hope every time that I hear it (which is a lot considering how often I watch LOTR).
  • Minda from Jamestown , Tnto me this song sounds like....someone wishing someone else a safe journey. telling the to be safe and praying that the morning finds them alive and well.
