Songfacts®:

  • This song features on the soundtrack for the 2014 Nicholas Sparks' film, The Best of Me. Paslay actually wrote the tune in the early 2010s with Patrick Davis (Jason Michael Carroll's "Where I'm From"), but says it fits the movie perfectly. "I've seen the scene that they're using it in, and it's a pretty dramatic scene that it happens in, but I'm glad it fell out of heaven like rain," he said before the film's premiere. "But yeah, it seems perfect for it."
