Songfacts®:

  • This is the opening track of Fetty Wap's For My Fans, a five-track EP, which was recorded and released in the span of just half a day after the New Jersey rapper decided to give his fans a present.

I'd like to thank my fans
Because of you guys I do what the f--k I want
Man and it feels f---kin' good

"I'm indebted to my fans," Fetty Wap told Entertainment Weekly. "The entire EP was recorded in my studio on November 30. I woke up and I called my manager like, 'I think I'm going to drop something.'"

"I called my engineer and I was like, 'Let's go to the studio,' and it's like 10:30 in the morning and he hadn't even brushed his teeth," he continued. "But we started recording at 1 p.m. and finished at 3:30 p.m. We dropped it at, what, like 9 p.m.? I promised my fans so I had to do it."
  • Fetty Wap raps over the instrumentation for Rick Ross' "Aston Martin Music." (Hence the luxury sports car brand in the song title).
