Songfacts®:

  • This sensual, '90s-style R&B anthem was written by Taylor Parks. Dinah Jane Hansen commented to The LA Times:

"I love how mature it is. It's the kinda song for when you're getting down with your man. I played Taylor Parks a couple of tracks we had done and she was like, 'You know what I know the direction y'all are going.' She immediately told the pianist and came up with some words and said, 'Let's do something a little grown.' She was witty with all the words. I was happy to witness it because it's the direction and lane we were trying to touch. Definitely giving you Mariah Carey vibes, '90s vibes, real R&B - it takes you there."
  • This was Fifth Harmony's second collaboration with Taylor Parks - she also co-penned their feminist anthem "Bo$$." Her other songwriting credits include Mariah Carey's "Infinity" and Alicia Keys' "In Common."
