  • During FFDP's June 12, 2017 gig in Tilburg, Netherlands, vocalist Ivan Moody announced this would be his last show with the band. However, the five piece subsequently issued a statement that Moody would remain as the band's frontman. Meanwhile the singer checked himself into rehab to sort out his substance abuse problems, while the remaining four members continued with the tour.

This Got Your Six track appeared more relevant than ever before due to everyone's concerns about Moody. Arising from this, FFDP decided to release a video of the group performing the track.

"We thought this was the perfect song to address the various rumors circulating out there," said guitarist Zoltan Bathory. "Ivan is doing great and the band is firing on all cylinders. Not just isn't this our 'last dance' but as we are gearing up for the European tour, we are kicking it up a notch and building our biggest stage show to date."
