Songfacts®:

  • This song finds Twigs attempting to woo a man away from a relationship, as she boasts "I can f--k you better than her."

"I write exactly what I think," she told The Guardian regarding her explicit lyrical content. "If it's a raw subject, I write lots of things and then pull out all the fluff words."
  • The song's music video was directed by Nabil Elderkin, who's also handled clips for Nicki Minaj and Arctic Monkeys. Twigs plays a sort of empress/goddess/banshee dancer sat a throne inside an ancient temple. "Weird things can be sexy," she explained. "Vulnerability is the strongest state to be in. How boring would it be if we were constantly dominant or constantly submissive?"

"In the video, it's this vision of me feeding myself, milking myself," Twigs added. "I was naked, painted in gold, doing krump dance moves. It's bizarre, but hot in a very weird way."
  • FKA Twigs made her US TV debut on November 4, 2014 when she sung this song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "Oh my goodness," yelped Fallon at the end of her dazzling performance. "I've never seen anything like that before."
