Songfacts®:

  • This is a track from Flotsam and Jetsam's eleventh studio album, Ugly Noise. Speaking with Myglobalmind.com, vocalist Eric Knutson said this is one of his vocal favourites on the set. "I poured a lot of heart into that one and it came out really well," he explained.
  • Guitarist Michael Gilbert told us that this mid tempo tune is one of his favorite tracks on Ugly Noise, too. "That's got a pretty good emotion, and it's got a lot of vibe to it," he said. "When Eric got on there and all the parts came together, man, I was just like, 'This turned out to be really way better than I thought it was going to be.'"
  • Flotsam and Jetsam used PledgeMusic to raise funds for the recording of Ugly Noise. The campaign was successful and the album was released on December 21, 2012.
