Songfacts®:

  • This track from Frightened Rabbit's 2013 Late March, Death March EP finds frontman Scott Hutchison singing about the anguish we go through when a relationship is in difficulties and we are awaiting a breakthrough. "'Radio Silence' was written earlier this summer, and is essentially about that torturous time you spend waiting for someone in particular to call you," said Hutchison. "Of course, they never do. More often than not, this is for the best, even though it doesn't feel that way at the time."
