Songfacts®:

  • This track features Tyler, The Creator and we also hear Lil Wayne on the hook. Game told Vibe magazine he was grateful that the OFWGKTA leader was willing to contribute a verse. "He ain't really doing features for nobody. He feels like f--- everything and I don't blame him either. It's a California thing, and I got respect for him and his hustle and what they're doing and just being kids and being rebels for the cause," Game explained. "And he respects me for doing what I did for California and the West Coast, I guess. I met him at a Diddy concert and we chopped it up and we got a song called 'Martians vs Goblins.' It's dope."
  • Game explained the song title to The Boombox: "It's basically me and Weezy used to be martians. Weezy has a line in his song ['A Milli'] 'What's a goon to a goblin?' so I'm like, damn, Weezy went from being a martian to a goblin. Tyler released an album called Goblin so I thought it would be dope to call it 'Martians vs. Goblins' to sort of have that little mash-up of us three on the song.
