  • George Birge is an American country music artist based in Nashville and originally from Austin, Texas.
  • After high school, Birge worked in real estate until he reunited in 2013 with his school pal Cody Cooper to form Waterloo Revival, named after Austin's original name. Waterloo Revival released two singles on Big Machine Records, "Hit the Road" and "Bad for You," which reached #51 and #52, respectively, on Country Airplay in 2015. The duo later joined Toby Keith's label Show Dog-Universal Music.
  • After Waterloo Revival parted ways in 2021, Birge focused on songwriting. He got placements on tracks by Clay Walker ("Need a Bar Sometimes" and "Catchin' Up with an Old Memory") and country rapper Colt Ford ("I'm Still Me").
  • Clay Walker encouraged Birge to release his material on TikTok, where users embraced his song "Beer Beer, Truck Truck" in late 2021. This earned him a deal with Records Nashville.
  • Records Nashville released Birge's debut, self-titled EP in February 2022. It includes the track "Mind On You," which became his first Hot 100 hit 22 months later.
