• An obvious pun on the phrase "grey cloudy skies," when George was interviewed by Ray Coleman for the September 6, 1975 issue of Melody Maker, it was revealed it was written at Henley 18 months previously. Leon Russell played piano on the song, which has some unusual chords.
  
  George explained "Grey Cloudy Lies" to Paul Gambacinni in a BBC radio interview the same month. He said it was one of those depressing, 4 o'clock in the morning type of songs. Unusually, the dedicated guitarist wrote it on the piano, which probably accounts for the unusual chords.
• Harrison bought his Friar Park mansion at Henley-on-Thames in 1970 and was still living there in December 1999 when he was attacked and nearly killed by a maniac. He died in Los Angeles on November 29, 2001, from the cancer that had spread from his lungs to other parts of his body. >>>
