Yet for all that he struggled with his sexuality, drug abuse, depression, and even ended up in prison after crashing his car while under the influence of drugs. An extraordinarily generous man - a closet philanthropist - his death came as a shock but no surprise to those who knew him or had followed his trials and tribulations over the years. >>
