Songfacts®:

  • This Static Major penned song finds Ginuwine anxiously waiting on his lover all night to come home and have sex with him.
  • The third single released from the singer's 100% Ginuwine album, it became his most successful song to that date, peaking at #16 on the Hot 100 and helping the LP reach double platinum status. However Ginuwine admitted to Billboard magazine that he initially was not in favour of its release. "I was really scared of it because it was so slow and I was singing really hard and really high. I was nervous about how it would be received by the public," he said.

"But my management at the time, Jomo Hankerson, he actually picked that one and said 'This is the one to go with,'" Ginuwine added. "We went with it and thank God he was right."
  • The music video was directed by Chris Robinson and featured an appearance by rapper Solé. Ginuwine began dating Solé soon after the promo was filmed and they wed in 2003.
