Someone In London

Album: Godsmack (1997)

Songfacts®:

  • An instrumental interlude that is about a minute long, it's the only music on the album that lead singer Sully Erna had no part in writing. It was written by guitarist Tony Rombola.
  • "Mind the gap" is what is repeated at the beginning. It is what the British subway engineers tell their passengers before they let them out so they don't fall into the gap in the track. >>

  • Zero from Nowhere, NjTo say Sully has no talent, that is a lie, he plays like 5 different instruments! (Let's see: Guitar, Keyboards, Drums, Harmonica; and that's only all we've seen/heard him play) He is a great singer not to mention a kicka@$$ drummer. (You have to see Godsmack live, at one point Shannon and Sully have this drum solo battle - it's awesome!) And the reason most of Godsmacks songs sound the same I think is the same reason AC/DC's songs sound the same: they have a trademark sound and they don't want to alienate any of their fans; I don't think it has to do with any lack of creativity.
  • Jaxx from Manchester, Nhthis song is long forgotten because it was not written by sully.
  • Jeff from Helena, MtWhat do you think happens after you die? is it the end? or does your soul go on to a better place? think about it? and also how many songs does godsmack have? exactly.
  • Sammie from Bartow, FlI think Tony did well he is after all was just starting you dont have to be so mean

But Sully Should stick to writing lyrics
  • Tim from Manassas, Vahe lacks serious anything. talent, creativity...intelligence.
  • Nick from Paramus, NjActually it's the only thing on ANY album that Sully had no part in writing, I think he should just stick to writing lyrics because he lacks serious creativity.
