An instrumental interlude that's about a minute long, "Someone In London" is the only music on Godsmack's self-titled debut album that lead singer Sully Erna had no part in writing. It was written by guitarist Tony Rombola.
"Mind the gap" is what is repeated at the beginning. This is what British subway engineers tell their passengers before they let them out so they don't fall into the gap in the track.

Zero from Nowhere, NjTo say Sully has no talent, that is a lie, he plays like 5 different instruments! (Let's see: Guitar, Keyboards, Drums, Harmonica; and that's only all we've seen/heard him play) He is a great singer not to mention a kicka@$$ drummer. (You have to see Godsmack live, at one point Shannon and Sully have this drum solo battle - it's awesome!) And the reason most of Godsmacks songs sound the same I think is the same reason AC/DC's songs sound the same: they have a trademark sound and they don't want to alienate any of their fans; I don't think it has to do with any lack of creativity.
