  • Gomez unveiled the previously unreleased track "Collapse" to accompany the 20th anniversary reissue of their Mercury Music Prize-winning album Bring It On.

"'Collapse' is an early example of our Frankensteining songwriting technique that we've used a lot over the past 20 years," frontman Ian Ball told NME. "The verse and chorus were chopped out and became the second half of Here Comes The Breeze on Bring It On. The excessive use of panning is indicative that either we were listening to Rubber Soul too much, or more likely a result of the limitations of my old cassette four-track. It had no reverb, no delay; not even basic EQ... So, one of the few mixing tricks available was to spin guitars furiously from left to right."
