Songfacts®:

  • Here, Gunna links up with his Drip Harder co-star Lil Baby to rap braggadocios bars about cars, money and women. On the chorus Baby boasts about his $25,000 jacket, which he's only worn once.
  • Gunna and Baby's fellow Atlantan Wheezy created the light trap beat. He also incorporates a high-pitched flute and a dog barking into his production.
  • "25K Jacket" actually began as a collaboration between Wheezy and Lil Baby. The producer recalled to Billboard that while they were recording, they "just had an ear for Gunna." They reasoned he was "the only one that actually fit the record."
