I'm going to turn this into music."

  • The word "naughty" generally refers to a relatively harmless type of mischievous behavior, especially in children. However, until quite recently it had a stronger meaning, describing a wicked type of misconduct. "Naughty" comes from the old English word naught, which originally meant "possessing nothing."

The alternative sense "risqué, cheeky or indecent" dates from the 16th century.
  • Other artists that have recorded songs with "naughty" in the title include Beyonce and John Parr.
