  • This kiss-off to a no-good guy is one of a quartet of tracks on This Is What the Truth Feels Like that alludes to the breakdown of Gwen Stefani's marriage to Bush vocalist Gavin Rossdale. The No Doubt singer told USA Today it was in February 2015, "that I found out my life was going to change forever. Instead of wanting to die, I said to myself, I'm not going to go down. I'm going to turn this into music."
  • Gwen Stefani has form with breakup albums. No Doubt's 1995 release Tragic Kingdom detailed her split from the band's bass player Tony Kanai and sold over 16 million copies worldwide.
  • The word "naughty" generally refers to a relatively harmless type of mischievous behavior, especially in children.
